India lose to Britain in Olympics Test Event Hockey PDF Print E-mail

Sports Desk: India suffered another shock defeat in the test event for the London Olympics 2012. They lost to Britain 2-4. This defeat marked India's disastrous performance in the tournament and raised question marks on their ability to win a medal.


Rob Moore scored the first goal, while Simon Mantell score the second goal for Britain. Although Raghunath scored one to reduce the margin, Ashley Jackson scored two goals to seal the match.

Sandeep Singh just scored a consolation to reduce the margin to 2-4. India had lost 0-3 to Australia in the first match. They now would take on Germany on Saturday.
