Sports Desk: Pastor Maldonado of Venezuela made history, as he won the Spanish Grand Prix 2012 - his maiden F1 title. This is the first F1 title for the Williams since 2004.

 

Fernando Alonso finished second, while Kimi Raikkonen came third. Lewis Hamilton, who had secured the pole position on Saturday, was relegated to the back of the pack. He finished at eighth position.
