Breaking News! India suffered their third straight defeat in Hockey at 2012 London Olympics to crash out of the medal race. India lost 2-5 to Germany.

 

India had earlier lost to the Netherlands 2-3 and to New Zealand 1-3. The Germans dominated the game from the very beginning and won the match 5-2. They did not allow the Indians to bounce back in the match.

 

For Germany, Fuchs Florian (7th, 16th, 37th), Oliver Korn (24th) and Christopher Wesley (33rd) scored the goals. For India, Raghunath (13th) and Tushar Khandekar (16th) scored the goals.
