According to PTI reports, Shooter Vijay Kumar and Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt have been chosen for the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, while cricketer Yuvraj Singh will get the Arjuna Award. Vijay Kumar had won a silver at London Olympics. Yogeshwar Dutt had won a bronze medal in Wrestling.

At least 25 sportspersons have been nominated for the Arjuna Awards. The final list will be published soon. Acoording to reports, Hockey player Sardar Singh, Badminton players P Kashyap and Ashwini Ponappa and Archers Deepika Kumari and Bombayla Devi have been chosen for the Arjuna Awards. However, the news is yet to be confirmed.
