Sydney: India's Leander Paes and Zimbabwean Cara Black reached the final of Australian Open Mixed Doubles final. Paes-Black had a tough time to beat Lisa Raymond of US and Wesley Moodie of South Africa 6-7(6), 7-6(5), 10-7.

Leander Paes and Cara Black are rated top at the Australian Open. Lisa Raymond and Wesley Moddie were ranked seventh, but played like the winners. It was a battle of nerves, which was finally won by the Indo-Zimbabwean pair.

Paes and Black will now meet Russian Ekaterina Makarova and Czech Jaroslav Levinsky in the title summit on Sunday. Makarova and Levinsky defeated Italian Flavia Pennetta and Marcelo Melo of Brazil 6-0, 4-6, 10-8 in the semifinal.

Paes and Black had mixed results in the Grand Slam circuit as partners. They won the US Open in 2008, while finished runners-up in the Wimbledon Open and the US Open in 2009.
