Micromax 'Funbook' Tab to hit Market Next Week |

News Desk: Micromax's economic tablet ‘Funbook’ will hit the market next week in India. The device is one of the few Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based slates available in the country.
The tablet is priced at Rs. 6,499 and currently available online at the official site of Micromax.
Micromax's Funbook tablet is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based slate. The device features a 17.8 CMs Multi Touch Capacitive screen/display with 800x480 pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor with a Mali (Dual mali 400 – 2D/2D) GPU and 4GB of onboard memory, expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The Funbook has 512MB RAM, comes with a 2,800 mAh battery and 0.3 VGA Front facing camera. It is available in grey and midnight black colors.
A special feature of the Funbook is its Edutainment feature. One can access Study materials for classes from primary to under graduate, Sample papers for medical and engineering students and Interactive video classes in HD through the device.
Discussing about connectivity, Micromax also offers Tata's Photon+ EV-Do data card (802.11 b/g, USB 2.0) with 1 GB of additional download for two months.
Micromax claims the Funbook as a device of the youth that can help improve the education system in India. Students can take utmost advantage of its features related to study and so the most economic tablet ‘Aakash’ may not be waited anymore, as this device is available at an unbelievably cheaper price.
