News Desk: In an ongoing high competition among tech firms in tablet market, a low-cost tablet has been launched in India by the Telmoco Development Labs Pvt to compete with world's cheapest tablet Aakash.
The tablet named Attitude Daksha runs on Android 4.0 operating system and is available at Rs 5,399. The 7-inch tablet comes with affordable price, which will be convenient for students and professionals.
Even though, the price is a bit higher than the government backed tablet Aakash, but its features and specifications are much better than world's cheapest tablet.
Daksha comes with a capacitive 5 point touch screen, a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 RAM. It is powered by 3,800 mAh li-Pol battery, which offers a back up of over 6 hours with Wi-Fi on.
The tablet has a HDMI port, micro SD slot, 3.5 mm audio out, micro USB port and OTG connector for 3G dongle and RJ 45 cable (for connecting wired broadband connection).
The tablet is capable of 1080p full HD video streaming and has 400 MHzGPU for advanced flash Apps, Interactive Apps and full HD videos.
Initially, the low-cost tablet will be shipped to schools, professional institutions, and corporate houses. Later, it will be available in the market from May 15. The customers can purchase it online from Telmoco website.
