News Desk: Aakash tablet maker Datawind has launched two low-cost tablets - Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7C - in India. Aakash, which is world's cheapest tablet, will have to face a tough competition to survive in the market.

While Ubislate 7+ will be available at Rs 2999, the 7C model will cost Rs Rs 3,999.

Both the Ubislate tablets come with similar features and specifications. However, Ubislate 7C has 4GB of internal flash memory and Ubislate 7+ comes with only 2GB memory.

Both the devices are powered by Cortex A8 800 Mhz processor, 256MB RAM and have an 800x480 pixel capacitive touchscreen. They run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system.

The tablets have 3200 mAh battery, which offers up to 180 minutes of usage. They have microUSB slots for memory expansion, an USB port, which can be used for optional 3G USB modems. Both the tablets support WiFi and GPRS.

The tablets can be ordered online from Datawind website. The shipping for Ubislate 7+ has already started. The Ubislate 7C will be available from May end.
