News Desk: Airtel launched 4G services in Bangalore yesterday. With this the cutting-edge 4G LTE technology is now available in Bangalore and Kolkata. The 4G services of Airtel can be availed at a minimum subscription of Rs 999 per month.  The company has launched four tariff plans to provide the service. The first plan named ‘Break free’ which has a data transfer limit of 6GB is priced at Rs. 999 per month.  The second plan called ‘Break free Max’ pack is available for a monthly charge of Rs. 1,399 with a data transfer limit of 9 GB.  While the third pack named ‘Break free Ultra’, which has the data transfer limit of 18GB is available with a monthly price of Rs. 1,999 the fourth plan named ‘Break Free Ultimate’ is priced at Rs. 2,999 with a data transfer limit of 30 GB.  Airtel had launched the 4G services last month in Kolkata which was also the inception of the said service in the country.  4G is the most advanced wireless broadband service facility that includes the fastest access to High Definition video streaming, multiple chatting and instant uploading of images.  Using the service users can also watch Bollywood movies of their choice. The subscription for the first month includes at least 10 movies that can be watched free of cost and for further viewing they need to pay a monthly subscription of Rs. 149 to watch unlimited movies.  Airtel has also introduced ‘Smartbytes’ for 4G that allow customers to buy these add on packs and continue enjoying the 4G experience even after exhausting their monthly data limits.  After the introduction of its 4G LTE services in Kolkata and Bangalore, Airtel is currently on the verge of launching the service in its remaining licensed circles. It is reported that China-based telecom equipment company Huawei Technologies Co Ltd will manage the 4G network in Bangalore.  Bharti Airtel is the only company now in the country to provide the 4G service. |
