Honda launches 'Dream Yuga' Bike @ Rs 44,642 PDF Print E-mail

News Desk: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its cheapest mass segment bike ‘Dream Yuga’, priced at Rs 44,642 mainly targeting the customers from rural India.


The ‘Dream Yuga’ is powered by a 110 cc engine with 8.5 BHP at the rate of 7,500 RPM together with a mileage of 72 km/litre.


The company claims that the engine is equipped with a new technology called 'Honda intelligent ignition control system' that changes ignition timings to attain ideal combustion, leading to improved power generation and competence.


Yadvinder S. Guleria, vice president, sales and marketing, HMSI said "Entering a new era, Honda is committed to serve two-wheeler customers across every segment in India." during the launch.


HMSI expects to sell around three lakh units of the motorcycle in this financial year. The company sells another110cc motorcycle CB Twister in the country.


HMSI also announced to rope in Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as a brand ambassador for the company.
