News Desk: The Nokia Lumia 610 is a 3.7 inch Windows Smartphone that comes with 8GB of memory and a 5 Megapixel camera. It was introduced at the Mobile Congress in last February.
The phone is definitely one of the more attractive budget smart phone options out there. Despite its several merits the biggest drawback of the device is the 800MHz single-core processor and just 256MB of RAM. This small pack of memory may not make all the apps work well. Sometimes it may not work at all.
The Lumia 610, which can be tagged as the cheapest Windows Phone device yet seen, doesn't offer the latest quad-core tech or a pin-sharp display, but instead provides a smooth and satisfying experience for a little of what its larger rivals charge.
There is no microSD support on this device which means you can't expand that figure. Again, the phone's 3.7 inch LCD screen has a resolution of 480x800 pixels. Here the capacitive touch panel allows one to feed some input without much pressure.
Coming to display, the LCD screen is good but colors look a bit washed out specially the black color is not as deep as they show on other phones with AMOLED screens. So, the device does not have an excellent display but with comparison to its price the display is okay.
In the Lumia 610, transitions are smooth, navigation is fast and there's no irritating hindrance for switching between applications. But there is no front-facing camera, so face-to-face video calls via Skype are not possible.
So the Nokia Lumia 610 is a nice device for the budget concerned users who can avail a smooth experience like an Android device with this phone.
