News Desk: German auto maker Audi is all set to launch the new Audi A8L 4.2 TDI in Indian market tomorrow. This new variant of the A8L, as its name suggests will be powered by a 4.2-litre V8 bi-turbo diesel engine that churns out 350 PS of power and a colossal 800 Nm of torque. Â The expected price of the car should be around one crore rupees in India. Â The company claims the fuel economy of the A8L 4.2 TDI to be 13.1 km/l and the vehicle weights 2070 kg. The 4.2-litre oil-burner is mated to an eight speed sequential automatic gearbox and the quattro all-wheel-drive system. Â It features dynamic steering, head up display unit, two piece panoramic sunroof, Bang and Olufsen sound system, 4 zone auto AC and Specially designed ergonomic seats, exclusive rear seat entertainment system and Special safety features such as ABS, traction control and airbags. Â At present Audi provides three variants of the A8L in India - the base 3.0 TDI quattro, the mid-level 4.2 FSI petrol and the range topping 6.3 W12 quattro.
