NewsRoom: Breaking News! America's largest online retailer Amazon launched its latest version of Kindle for an enhanced display and faster navigation with an entirely redesigned chassis to lead the competition in online market.
The latest model of Kindle is considered as 15 percent lighter and 21 percent smaller than the second-generation model Kindle 2. The new Kindle comes with a 6-inch screen size using the same E-Ink Pearl. The Screen's refresh rate is 20 percent faster than its predecessor's.
Further, the model boasts of having internal storage accommodation up to 3500 books. As Amazon always comes with an aggressive pricing strategy, The Wi-Fi-and-3G version of the new Kindle will cost around $189, while the Wi-Fi-only model will cost $139.   Amazon is set to have its preorders for the latest version of Kindle and will begin to ship the product on August 27.
