Vodafone launches cheapest Mobile Phone at $15 (Rs 700) PDF Print E-mail

New Delhi: Breaking News! In a desperate bid to compete with the world's largest mobile phone maker, Nokia, Vodafone has announced that it would launch the cheapest mobiles in Indian market, which will be priced at $15 (Rs 700).

 

Earlier, Nokia had announced that it would launch the world's cheapest mobiles at $10 (Rs 450 - 500). However, Vodafone has taken the lead by launching by its own cheapest mobile phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2010.

 

The Vodafone 150 and Vodafone 250 will enter the Indian market soon. The phones offer voice, SMS, miniUSB connector, alarm clock, a torch, calculator a currency converter, games and memory for up to 100 entries in phonebook.
