Breaking News! Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has extended his lead over the rivals to get the Republican Nominations for the 2012 Presidential Polls, as he won six out of 10 states that went to polls on 'Super Tuesday'. Â Mitt Romney won in Massachusetts, Vermont, Idaho, Alaska, Virginia and Ohio. His rival and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum won three states - Tennessee, Oklahoma and North Dakota. Â Another rival and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich won the primary in Georgia. Romeny won at least 212 Super Tuesday delegates, while Santorum won at least 84. Gingirch won 72 deleagates. Ron Paul won 22 delegates. Â Romney leads the race with 415 delegates, while Santorum is on the second spot with 176 delegates. Gingrich has 105 and Ron Paul has 47. |
