News Desk: After a long battle, the former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney has finally clinched the Republican nominations for the race to US President. He will take on incumbent Barack Obama. Â After the victory in Texas Primary Tuesday, Romney surged ahead of his rivals, leaving no option for them but to drop out of the contest. Â Romney needed 58 out of 152 delegates in Texas to reach the magic number 1,144. However, he won 88, making it no contest for his rivals. Â It is believed that Romney would give Obama a run for his money when the ultimate battle takes place later this year. He has promised better action to fix the struggling US Economy. |
