News Desk: People used to seek blessing for living 100 years on the planet. A Japanese man is celebrating his 114th birthday with a traditional country meal, who is believed to be the oldest man in world.
Jiroemon Kimura on Tuesday is celebrating his birthday at his home in Kyoto with his family including his eldest son's widow (82) and grandson's widow (58). Kimura preferred to celebrate the occasion with a breakfast of grilled fish with steamed rice and red beans as well as a typical Japanese meal. The old man has seven children, two dead and five surviving. He is staying with 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Kimura found a place on the top in the list of world's oldest man. Earlier, Walter Breuning from Montana was considered as holding the title. However, he died earlier this month.
